With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rei Higuchi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Higuchi tries to keep at a distance but Sands has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sands lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Sands makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Higuchi tries to pull guard but Sands holds him up against the cage and eventually Higuchi drops back down to his feet.
Sands lands a body shot in the clinch.
Sands lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Sands digs a right hand underneath Higuchi's ribcage. Higuchi let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Sands works on Higuchi's body with a couple of short punches.
Higuchi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sands walks away with a smile on his face. Higuchi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sands moves into the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Sands.
Sands lands with a short shot to the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sands scores with a nice hook to the head.
Sands throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Higuchis head.
Sands lands with a light punch inside.
Sands throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Sands lands a body punch.
Higuchi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bobby Sands has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rei Higuchi.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sands creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sands unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Higuchi! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Sands is unloading with more strikes now! Higuchi drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
