The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kormrok looks to land a right hand but Cranial moved out of range.
Kormrok's corner calls for a 1-2. Kormrok obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kormrok keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cranial.
Cranial misses the shot to the body.
Cranial looks to throw the jab but Kormrok is out of range.
Kormrok on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Cranial tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kormrok was well out of range. Poor timing from Cranial.
Good standup being displayed there by Kormrok as he connects with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kormrok fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kormrok goes for a double leg but Cranial avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cranial continues to drive forward.

enabling Cranial to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Von Kormrok has been cut.

and Kormrok connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Cranial throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kormrok is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kormrok will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The crowd cheers as Cranial lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kormrok doesn't seem phased though.

Cranial wants to clinch up but Kormrok keeps it at a distance.

Kormrok looks to land a right hand but Cranial moved out of range.
It seemed like Cranial was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kormrok takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A left lands for Cranial.
The fighters circling - Cranial throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kormrok scores with a jab to the head.
Cranial throws a body punch but Kormrok moves out of range.
Cranial displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kormrok.

Cranial let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Cranial lunges at Kormrok with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kormrok's hand.

Von Kormrok's cut is getting worse.
Crack! Cranial connects with the perfect overhand right and Kormrok falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Cranial!

Von Cranial decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
