Alves is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Markham can't fight it off and eventually Alves manages to take the fight to the floor. Markham looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Alves is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Markham is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Markham has escaped and now he's on top!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh but Alves is tightening it up a little... Markham has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Markham reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Markham taps out! Nice BJJ there by Alves!
