Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Warren Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Socha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peace's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, AC/DC Thunder Struck. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peace has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Peace throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Peace swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Socha.
Socha on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Peace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Socha's waist but Socha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peace off to one side.

Peace looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Peace lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Socha takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Socha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peace.

Peace throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Socha on the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
