The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flipovic swats away the attempt to clinch by Boket.
Boket tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Flipovic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Flipovic instigates a clinch.
Boket wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Flipovic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Crunch! Flipovic slams his shin into Boket's torso.
Boket's coach down at Evolved MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boket's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Boket throws a left and a right that both miss
and Flipovic counters with a body kick.
Boket looks winded!

Flipovic rushes Boket and presses him up against the cage.

Flipovic breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boket doesn't manage to clinch there - Flipovic circles away.
Flipovic scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Boket is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Flipovic looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Flipovic backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Boket's temple! It sends Boket violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Flipovic celebrates and the doctors try to help Boket!
