The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Bombs.
Good shot there by Minasian.
A head kick by Bombs misses
and Minasian counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Minasian has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym Amsterdam in the buildup to the fight.
Bombs fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Minasian has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Minasian throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It seemed like Bombs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Bombs moves into range and clinches up with Minasian.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bombs.
Minasian is leaning against Bombs and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Bombs looks winded!
Minasian lands a shoulder strike.
Minasian blocking some punches.
Minasian lands a hook to the side of the head.

Bombs swings wildly with an uppercut but Minasian uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bombs throws a punch but it's blocked by Minasian.

Minasian lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bombs backwards.

Minasian's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bombs is looking to clinch but Minasian is avoiding it.
Bombs throws a looping overhand right but Minasian ducks down to avoid it.
As Bombs backs away, Minasian returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

and Minasian counters with a nice right hand that sends Bombs toppling to the canvas! Bombs scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Minasian finish him?!

Bombs is rocked!

Bombs misses with a hook
and Minasian counters with a solid body kick.
Minasian cracks Bombs's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Bombs slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Minasian can do further damage! This one is done, son!
