The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAdams has a takedown stuffed.
McAdams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McAdams throws a jab but it's blocked by Secoy.
Secoy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McAdams on the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Secoy lands a really nice looking cross but McAdams seems unphased.
Secoy moves into range and connects with a jab.
Secoy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Secoy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

McAdams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Secoy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McAdams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McAdams shoots in looking for a takedown. Secoy tries to sprawl out of it but McAdams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Secoy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dayton McAdams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McAdams takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Secoy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Secoy as McAdams shoots in.
Secoy jabs at McAdams's body.
Secoy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McAdams is rocked!
McAdams drops his hands momentarily. Secoy doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. McAdams staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. McAdams doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
