The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGaul dives in and grabs Nguyen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nguyen pushes down on McGaul's head and hops out.
Nguyen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Nguyen looks to land a strike but McGaul avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
