The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Creed tries to break the clinch but Brown is controlling the position.
Brown lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Apollo Creed has been cut.

Brown gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Creed regains guard.
Creed is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brown is controlling him.
Brown has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Creed is proving hard to escape from.

Brown gets to his feet. Creed looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Creed jabs at Brown's body.

Brown has managed to clinch.

Creed manages to break the clinch.
Creed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Brown shoots in for a double leg but Creed sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown misses with a head kick.

Creed throws a hook but Brown avoids it easily.
Brown takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Gordon Brown has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.

Creed catches Brown napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Brown to the canvas!
Creed has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Creed would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Creed trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Creed fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The cut above Gordon Brown's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Brown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Creed counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brown takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Apollo Creed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Creed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Creed tests Brown's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Creed scores with a jab to the jaw.

Brown is rocked!
Creed grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Brown takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Creed cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
