Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Blanco pushes him off.

Blanco looking to score a takedown here. Smith is defending well but Blanco drives through and ends up in Smith's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith wants to stand but Blanco is controlling the position.

Blanco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Smith wants to improve his position but instead Blanco has moved into half guard.

Blanco wants to work for an arm triangle but Smith is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Smith tries to roll over but Blanco keeps him under control.
Blanco is just content to waste time from the top position. Smith takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Smith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blanco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Blanco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blanco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Blanco is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Blanco is pushing down on Smith's leg trying to pass to half guard. Smith is fighting to maintain full guard but Blanco has managed to sneak the leg through.
Smith looks like he's trying to stand up.

Blanco might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Smith haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Blanco drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Smith throws a good cross that connects.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.

Blanco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Blanco finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Blanco wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luca Blanco dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
Smith scores with a jab to the body.

Smith shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Blanco napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Smith tries for a kimura but Blanco is defending well.
Blanco is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Smith off and has taken his back!

Blanco is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Smith is tapping out! This one is all over!
