Padilha had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Guifre is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Padilha Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Guifre's back instead.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Guifre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Padilha swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Guifre thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Guifre bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Padilha looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Guifre is defending well. Padilha quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Guifre has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Padilha celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
