Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kounta Kanye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barbados Slim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanye wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kanye's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slim connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kanye scrambles back to his feet.
Kanye could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kanye gets a clinch.

Slim manages to break the clinch.
Kanye doesn't manage to clinch there - Slim circles away.
Donk. Kanye catches Slim right on the button with a cross.
Kanye misses the shot to the body.

Slim closes the distance and pushes Kanye back into the cage.
Slim is struggling to control the position.
Slim blocks an uppercut.
Kanye pushes Slim back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Slim lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Slim blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kanye tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kanye lands a left hand that snaps the head of Slim backwards.

Slim throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kanyes head.
Kanye swings wildly with an uppercut but Slim uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kanye lands with a short shot to the head.
Slim working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Slim's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kanye misses with a punch on the inside.
Slim blocks an uppercut.

It looks like Kounta Kanye has been cut.

Slim escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kanye throws a looping overhand right but Slim ducks down to avoid it.
Kanye cracks Slim with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kanye misses with a combination
and Slim counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Slim avoids the body shot from Kanye.
Slim lands with an overhand left.

Kanye is rocked!
Slim ducks under a wild hook from Kanye.
Slim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kanye swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kanye swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Kanye throws a lazy uppercut
and Slim counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
