Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Unknown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that The Unknown was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unknown tries to bum rush James with a series of wild strikes but James uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
James's corner calls for a 1-2. James obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Unknown tried to score with a low kick but James checks it.
James fires out a quick counter leg kick but Unknown just manages to avoid it.
James misses with a hook. Unknown ducked under it nicely.
James backing away here, and Unknown unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Unknown closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Unknown lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

James throws a lazy right hand but Unknown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Unknown swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Unknown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
James looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Unknown throws a predictable looking body shot
and James counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Unknown with a nice cross.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and James counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by James.

James sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Unknown's guard.
James is pressing down on Unknown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Unknown is holding on for now.
James stops Unknown from getting back to his feet.

Unknown manages to escape and get back to his feet!
James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A left and a right from James both land. Nice combination.

A bone on bone clash there as Unknown blocks the leg kick.
James lands a really nice looking cross but Unknown seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Unknown misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
James was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and James counters with a good low kick that Unknown was not able to check.
Good leg kick by James there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
James is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
James misses with a wild combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie James dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Unknown avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Unknown tries a head kick but it misses.
Unknown on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by James. James obviously looking to wear him down.
Unknown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
James lands a nice hook to Unknown's body. Unknown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Unknown takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Unknown is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
James keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
James is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
James works Unknown's body with a nice hook.
A big right followed by a crushing left from James knocks Unknown out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

During a confident post fight interview, Eddie James thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
