The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cross moves into range and clinches up with Khaliev.
Khaliev can't get the takedown.
Cross prevents the takedown attempt.
Cross lands a shot to the body.
Cross leaning against his opponent.

Cross is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Khaliev can't fight it off and eventually Cross manages to take the fight to the floor. Khaliev looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cross is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Cross works over Khaliev with some ground and pound from guard.

Cross is sitting in close to Khaliev's body. Khaliev has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cross is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cross is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Khaliev.
