Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Envy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Vicksone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Envy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Converge - Dark Horse. Vicksone has chosen m.o.v.e - DOGFIGHT as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vicksone clinches up against the cage.
Envy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vicksone prevents the takedown attempt.
Vicksone tries to land knees in the clinch but Envy avoids the damage to the body.
Vicksone throws an elbow that misses.
Envy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vicksone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Envy wants to break free but Vicksone has control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vicksone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Envy pinned against the cage. Envy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Envy is looking to clinch but Vicksone is avoiding it.
Envy has his takedown stuffed

and Vicksone counters with a single leg into guard. Envy didn't expect that.

Vicksone has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Envy tries to close the distance and clinch but Vicksone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Envy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Vicksone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Envy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Envy moves out of range of the body kick.
Vicksone is breathing heavily.
Envy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Envy throws a sloppy head kick and Vicksone moves out of range easily.

Vicksone feints and as Envy raises his hands in defense, Vicksone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Vicksone missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Vicksone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Envy wants to stand but Vicksone is controlling the position.
Envy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Envy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vicksone sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Envy throws a series of punches but Vicksone moves out of range.

Envy shoots in for a double leg but Vicksone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Vicksone has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Envy is trying to keep an underhook but Vicksone manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Vicksone is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Envy still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Envy has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
