The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brown swivels and escapes.
Brown moves into range and clinches up with Willis.
Willis on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Willis misses with a punch on the inside.
Brown lands a left hand that snaps the head of Willis backwards.
Willis fails to pull guard.
Brown controlling the action here for a moment.
Willis has had enough of the clinch but Brown keeps him there for the moment.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobbie Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown lands a hook that snaps the head of Willis backwards.

It looks like Bobbie Willis has been cut.

Brown is pushing Willis up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Willis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brown creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Willis's defenses.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown lands an elbow inside that Willis shrugs off.
Oh Willis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown has Willis pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Willis is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Brown - that's hurt Willis badly! Oh, another knee lands and Willis is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Willis doesn't seem to be complaining.
