Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trametinib Mekinist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doop Doop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doop Doop!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doop swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mekinist counters with a two punch combo.
Doop throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mekinist tries to counter by clinching up but Doop breaks away and moves out of range.
Doop misses with a double jab
enabling Mekinist to counter with a crisp jab.

Mekinist moves into the clinch.
Mekinist lands a left hand that snaps the head of Doop backwards.
Doop throws a head punch that misses.
A left hand lands to the body for Mekinist.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mekinist throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Doops head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mekinist creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Mekinist pushes Doop back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mekinist working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mekinist bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Doop's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mekinist tries to move to mount but Doop blocks the move with his legs.

Mekinist goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Doop has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mekinist but great work by Doop.

Doop laying and praying for a moment but Mekinist takes advantage and regains half guard.
Doop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mekinist. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Doop stalling.
Mekinist tries to roll over but Doop keeps him under control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Doop is stalling here. Mekinist is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Doop seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mekinist has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Doop sneaks back into half guard.

Doop keeping control of the position.

Doop is trying to stand back up but Mekinist is controlling him
Doop won't allow Mekinist to pass to mount.
Doop has a hand on Mekinist's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mekinist takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Doop tries to lock up and control but Mekinist gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mekinist went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Doop catches Mekinist with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
