Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire comes into the arena with Battle Hymn of the Republic blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire misses with a hook. Thompson ducked under it nicely.
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick and McGuire moves out of range easily.
McGuire throws a hook but Thompson avoids it easily.
Thompson looks to land a combination but McGuire avoids it well.
Mike McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGuire tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Thompson is able to avoid easily.

McGuire shoots for a double leg takedown but Thompson sprawls well. He's pushed McGuire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mike McGuire's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Good leg kick by Thompson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Thompson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops McGuire to the canvas! McGuire doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Thompson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
