Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chigurh closes the distance and clinches up with Landreth, looking for a takedown. Chigurh pushes Landreth against the cage but Landreth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Landreth forces Chigurh back against the cage and clinches.
Landreth prevents the takedown attempt.
Landreth lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chigurh backwards.
Chigurh is working for takedown but Landreth is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sonny Landreth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Chigurh.
Landreth pushes Chigurh back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Landreth tries to work over Chigurh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Landreth wants to stand and escape but Chigurh is having none of it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Landreth is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chigurh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Landreth will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chigurh throws an overhand right that lands on Landreth's shoulder, as Landreth tries to avoid the shot.

Landreth moves into the clinch.
Landreth misses with some punches.

Landreth is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chigurh is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Landreth to the mat. Landreth regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Landreth has Chigurh pulled in close to control his posture.
Landreth has momentary wrist control but Chigurh slips an elbow through the middle.
Chigurh stands up over Landreth, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Chigurh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Landreth looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Landreth looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Landreth!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chigurh can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chigurh slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Landreth wants to free his trapped foot but Chigurh is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Chigurh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Landreth defends it nicely.

Chigurh goes for a takedown attempt but Landreth pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Landreth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
