And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ahmad clinches with his opponent.
Brock wants to take the fight to the mat but Ahmad manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Brock is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ahmad pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ahmad tries to break free but Brock pushes him back against the cage.
Ahmad looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Brock has Ahmad pressed against the cage, preventing Ahmad from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Brock prevents a body shot from Ahmad.
Ahmad is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ahmad wants to break the clinch but can't.

Brock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ahmad dives in and grabs Brock's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brock pushes down on Ahmad's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ahmad gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ahmad has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brock uses from the top position.

Brock stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Ahmad throws a sloppy head kick and Brock moves out of range easily.
Brock stuffs the takedown.
Ahmad attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Brock lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Brock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ahmad lands a left and a right that send Brock crashing to the mat, dazed. Ahmad thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Walter Brock has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brock tries a head kick but it misses.
Brock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ahmad pinned against the cage. Ahmad gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walter Brock. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ahmad takes the fight into the clinch.
Ahmad lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Brock to his knees! Ahmad keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
