Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Collin Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nanashi Goro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Collin Velasquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nanashi Goro!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez moves out of range as Goro throws a body kick.
Velasquez tries to clinch up.
Velasquez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Velasquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goro paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Goro steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Velasquez.
Velasquez throws a sloppy head kick and Goro moves out of range easily.

Velasquez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Velasquez is looking to stand back up but Goro counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Velasquez.

Goro trying to control the action but Velasquez is working from the bottom.
Velasquez really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Velasquez looking for submissions off his back.
Velasquez wants to improve his position but Goro is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Velasquez is looking to get back to full guard here but Goro has managed to pass to side control instead.
Velasquez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goro takes a little break here. Velasquez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Goro lands some shots froms side control.
Velasquez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Goro is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Velasquez looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Velasquez wants to control but Goro is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Velasquez is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Velasquez tries to get to full guard but Goro has control of the leg.

Velasquez throws some strikes from the bottom but Goro isn't bothered - he's working on a kimura... it looks tight... it is! Velasquez is tapping and screaming like a little girl! Ouch, that looks painful! Good win for Goro!
