Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sajjad Gharibi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gharibi swinging wildly here.
Gharibi looks to land a right hand but Quinn moved out of range.
Gharibi throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Quinn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Quinn.
Gharibi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Gharibi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gharibi takes a shot to the head.

Quinn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gharibi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quinn moves away.
Quinn lands a nice shot to the body.
Quinn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gharibi eats them both and turns towards Quinn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Quinn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Quinn thuds a left hand into Gharibi's body.
Sajjad Gharibi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quinn closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gharibi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gharibi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Quinn defending well as Gharibi loads up on a big left hand.
Quinn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Quinn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Quinn throws a shot to the body.
Gharibi throws a poor cross that misses
and Quinn counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Gharibi looks winded!
Gharibi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gharibi takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Quinn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Quinn is looking to wear down Gharibi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gharibi drops his hands momentarily and Quinn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Quinn lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Good exchange - Quinn coming out on top.
Gharibi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A jab from Gharibi misses.
Quinn smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Quinn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gharibi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Quinn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gharibi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quinn stuns Gharibi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gharibi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Oooooh!!! Quinn has knocked Gharibi down with a huge combo! Quinn steps away and waves a wobbly Gharibi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Gharibi is rocked!
Quinn drops Gharibi with a straight right hand, right on the button! Quinn follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaxon Quinn!
Jaxon Quinn spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
