Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the name of.... Shaw has chosen Family Force 5 - Chainsaw as his entrance music. Jack Shaw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Shaw blocks the low kick.
A nice side step and Shaw releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

It looks like Ivar Lodbrok has been cut.
Lodbrok shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Shaw bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lodbrok's head.
Shaw has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

I was talking to Lodbrok's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lodbrok avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lodbrok has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shaw finds it's way round the side to connect with Lodbrok's head.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Lodbrok.
Lodbrok blocks a jab.
Shaw moves out of range as Lodbrok strikes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shaw! But no joy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ivar Lodbrok will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Lodbrok walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shaw connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lodbrok lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shaw has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shaw and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Shaw jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lodbrok walks away with a smile on his face. Shaw gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lodbrok wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shaw bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lodbrok's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Jack Shaw.
