Powell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 8 Mile. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Powell gets in close and instigates a clinch.
I was talking to Powell's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Powell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Yuudai swings wildly with an uppercut but Powell uses good head movement to avoid it.
Powell lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Yuudai backwards.

A frustrated look appears on Yuudai's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Powell is staying tight to Yuudai's torso, preventing him from escaping.
