The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haigh avoids the head kick by Silver.
Silver misses with a few strikes there.
Silver uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Haigh.
Silver throws a predictable looking body shot
and Haigh counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Nathan Silver has been cut.

Silver closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Silver throws a hook but Haigh blocks it.
Haigh replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Silver blocks it well.
Silver throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silver lands a jab to the nose.
Haigh moves out of range as Silver strikes.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silver crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Haigh - the referee stops the clock and Silver gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Haigh. Silver manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Haigh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silver lands a nice shot that snaps Haigh's head back.
Silver looks to land a combination. Haigh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Silver lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Silver blocks a head kick by Haigh.
The fighters circle momentarily. Haigh darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Silver fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haigh manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Haigh! But no joy.
Haigh misses with a double jab.
Silver throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Silver ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haigh moves away.

and Haigh cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Silver counters with a head kick that drops Haigh - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

Silver lands a big elbow - Haigh is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Silver!
