Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Brown had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands a body shot.
Johnson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brown under the eye.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Brown.
Nice body kick there by Johnson.
Brown throws a leg kick
and Johnson counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Johnson. Brown shrugs it off though.
Johnson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Johnson tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brown doesn't seem bothered though.

Johnson forces Brown back against the cage and clinches.
Johnson works on Brown's body with a couple of short punches.

Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Brown tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Brown tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Brown back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Johnson connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Brown covering up! Johnson comes in with a big uppercut and Brown goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
