Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Gattuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balrog Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gattuso comes to the cage accompanied by WAR-Low Rider. Johnson has chosen Gary Clark Jr. - Bright Lights as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

35 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Balrog Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Gattuso darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gattuso throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gattuso moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Balrog Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Gattuso slips the punch.
Johnson takes one on the button.
Johnson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gattuso throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Jab, jab by Gattuso - just one landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson looks to land a right hand but Gattuso moved out of range.
Johnson digs a good hook to Gattuso's body.
Johnson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gattuso. That one must have hurt.
A bone on bone clash there as Gattuso blocks the leg kick.
Gattuso thows a body kick. Johnson tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Gattuso takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Johnson misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Gattuso. Johnson shrugs it off though.
Johnson looks winded!
Gattuso lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gattuso cracks Johnson with a good jab.
Gattuso paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Johnson is rocked!
A solid leg kick lands there for Gattuso.
Gattuso takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gattuso fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Johnson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Johnson looks to clinch but Gattuso throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Johnson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Javier Gattuso!
