Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and timy erna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by My Life (Remix). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but erna circles away.
erna misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

erna tries to get back to half guard but can't.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
erna is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
erna is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Jones has taken his back!
erna has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jones's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but erna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

erna is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
erna misses with a head shot. Jones uses the momentum to regain guard.

erna pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.
erna wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
erna is controlling the pace.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

erna tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
erna uses his free foot to push down on Jones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jones.
Jones is looking to get to half guard.

timy erna showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in erna's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

erna looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
erna wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
erna is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones wants to control from the top but erna keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

erna shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
erna thows a big elbow that misses.

Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
erna is stalling in the full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcus Jones.
