Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chance Spong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomi Pozsar!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Pozsar.
Spong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pozsar but Pozsar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Spong avoids a punch combination nicely.
Spong scores with a jab to the jaw.
Tomi Pozsar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Spong.
Spong throws a body punch but Pozsar moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Pozsar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sloppy strikes from Pozsar. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pozsar looks to land a combination but Spong avoids it well.
Spong tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Pozsar manages to circle out of the way.

Spong gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Spong misses with a punch on the inside.

Spong has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Pozsar is trying to keep an underhook but Spong manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Pozsar has hold of Spong's hands but Spong slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Spong lands strikes from half guard.
Spong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Spong frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Spong working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Pozsar is bucking up trying to escape but Spong cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Spong is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pozsar has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pozsar!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spong seems keen to control Pozsar's posture.

Pozsar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pozsar has managed to get both his arms back between Spong's legs - danger averted.
Spong keeping moving, preventing Pozsar from controlling successfully.

Spong is working an open guard so Pozsar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Spong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pozsar counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spong shoots in looking for a takedown. Pozsar tries to sprawl out of it but Spong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pozsar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chance Spong. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pozsar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Spong misses with a straight right.
A nice side step and Pozsar releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Spong is rocked!

Pozsar walks into a jab.
Pozsar misses with an attempted mid kick.
Spong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Oh Spong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pozsar connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Spong covering up! Pozsar comes in with a big uppercut and Spong goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tomi Pozsar!
As Tomi Pozsar got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: This guy ain't shit.his managers ain't shit. his sponsors ain't shit..I'll take out any of these ####### ####### any ####### day.'.
