Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Who Cares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Valvarde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cares comes to the cage accompanied by Shogun Named Marcus. The crowd seem to be enjoying Valvarde's choice of entrance music: My Hero. Who Cares had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cares gets a clinch.
Cares keeps control of Valvarde as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Cares blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Cares blocks a body shot from Valvarde.
Valvarde is pressed up against the cage. Cares has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Valvarde down to the mat. Cares avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cares shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Valvarde as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Cares or perhaps it was just good defense by Valvarde which made him look bad.

Valvarde swats away the attempt to clinch by Cares.
Cares moves in looking to clinch but Valvarde pushes him off.
Cares misses with a takedown attempt - Valvarde sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Cares tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Valvarde swivels and escapes.

Matt Valvarde is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Valvarde throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cares.
Valvarde swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Valvarde fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Valvarde lands a jab-cross combination.
Who Cares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valvarde with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Valvarde throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Valvarde on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cares. Cares obviously looking to wear him down.
Valvarde goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Valvarde dodges the punch combination from Cares.
Cares moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cares tries to clinch there but Valvarde circles away.
Valvarde swats away the attempt to clinch by Cares.

It looks like Matt Valvarde has been cut.

Cares has managed to clinch.

Cares lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Cares trying to pass the guard but Valvarde defending well.
Valvarde looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cares moves nicely into side control.
Cares tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Cares in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Valvarde prevents Cares from moving into mount.

Cares goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Valvarde has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cares but great work by Valvarde.

Cares tries to buck Valvarde off but Valvarde is having none of it.
Cares is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Valvarde off and has taken his back!
Cares throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Valvarde!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Valvarde tries to escape but Cares has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
