Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fujimoto Hatsuharu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatsuharu has chosen Ohh Ahh as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fujimoto Hatsuharu !
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatsuharu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Moore lands a jab to Hatsuharu 's midsection.

Moore clinches.
Hatsuharu blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Moore pulls guard successfully.
Moore manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hatsuharu tries to hold on but Moore postures up.

Moore avoids the attempt from Hatsuharu to control.

Hatsuharu is squirming around, avoiding Moore's attempts to control the action.
Hatsuharu holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Moore tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Hatsuharu covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moore stands up and beckons Hatsuharu to his feet.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hatsuharu as he jumps to the side.

Moore goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Fujimoto Hatsuharu has been cut.
Moore tries to clinch up.
Moore fails with a takedown attempt.

Hatsuharu avoids a kick to the body.

Moore forces Hatsuharu back against the cage and clinches.

Hatsuharu wants to break the clinch but can't.

Moore has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hatsuharu uses from the top position.

Moore tries to close the distance and clinch but Hatsuharu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hatsuharu is breathing heavily.
Moore is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Moore lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hatsuharu stuffs the takedown.

Moore closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hatsuharu to the mat! Hatsuharu manages to get full guard.

Moore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hatsuharu 's waist but Hatsuharu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moore off to one side.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fight stays on the outside here - Moore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That was a close second round but I would say that James Moore will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hatsuharu as he avoids it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hatsuharu circles away.
Moore throws a leg kick
and Hatsuharu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moore.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hatsuharu as he avoids it easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A bone on bone clash there as Moore blocks the leg kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Moore.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moore, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
