Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Krzysiek Sikora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kusack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusack throws a leg kick but Sikora sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sikora shoots in looking for a takedown. Kusack tries to sprawl out of it but Sikora keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kusack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kusack gets the takedown into side control.
Sikora is not content to let Kusack control the position.
Kusack wants to stand but Sikora is controlling his arm.
Kusack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sikora keeps working.
Kusack is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Sikora is not content to let Kusack control the position.
Sikora gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sikora moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sikora bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kusack's guard.

Kusack is looking for a triangle but Sikora pushes his legs off easily.

Sikora stands up and waves to Kusack to follow him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kusack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kusack is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sikora is breathing heavily.
Kusack wants to take a breather but Sikora is having none of it.

Kusack is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Sikora has one foot on Kusack's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

and Kusack holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Sikora jumps into guard, dragging Kusack to the mat.

Kusack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Sikora has control of Kusack's left arm, preventing Kusack from doing any damage.

Sikora has his foot on Kusack's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kusack works his way back into a safe position though.
Sikora is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kusack misses with a takedown
