The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cooper throws out a loose jab but McGuire uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGuire is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Cooper moves out of range of the body kick.
Cooper throws a push kick but McGuire slaps the foot to one side.
McGuire changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cooper tries to avoid it but McGuire manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cooper to the ground. Cooper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McGuire lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cooper has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cooper and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGuire fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cooper has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
