The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payapa has his takedown stuffed
and Payapa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nice takedown defense from Zimmerman. No joy for Payapa on that attempt.
Payapa tries to clinch up but Zimmerman circles away and keeps his distance.

Zimmerman drives through and clinches with Payapa against the cage.

Zimmerman breaks the clinch.
Payapa shoots in for a takedown but Zimmerman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Andy Zimmerman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tajal Payapa.
Payapa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zimmerman is fending him off so far but Payapa persists. Nope, Zimmerman circles away and we're back to standing.

Zimmerman closes the distance and pushes Payapa back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Zimmerman has Payapa pressed against the cage, preventing Payapa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Zimmerman lands a damaging elbow.

Zimmerman gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Payapa regains guard.

Zimmerman looking to sit in guard and control but Payapa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Payapa trying to control the position from guard on top but Zimmerman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Payapa is looking to stand up but Zimmerman won't let him.
Zimmerman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Zimmerman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Zimmerman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Zimmerman postures up in Payapa's guard and throws a big left but Payapa blocks it.
Zimmerman throws a big right hand that misses.

Payapa has his feet on Zimmerman's thighs here. He's pushed Zimmerman off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Zimmerman screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
