The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Czarzsa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Heir is trying to defend but Czarzsa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Heir tries to roll over but Czarzsa keeps him under control.
Czarzsa frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Czarzsa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Czarzsa seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Heir is holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Czarzsa goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Heir turns into him and now he's in Czarzsa's guard.
Czarzsa lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Heir is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Czarzsa presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Heir is trying to trip Czarzsa. He has hold of a leg but Czarzsa is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Heir persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Heir wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Czarzsa's closed guard. He's half up but Czarzsa has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Czarzsa pivots and extends the arm, Heir falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Czarzsa! Well done that man!
