Halonen has chosen Immortal Technique - Hollywood driveby as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salamirinta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Halonen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Salamirinta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Salamirinta moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Jupeli Halonen has been cut.

Halonen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Halonen looks gassed!

Salamirinta is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Halonen pulls his head out easily.
Salamirinta lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
Salamirinta wants to get back to full guard.

Halonen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Salamirinta defends it well.

Halonen is looking to pass to full mount but he's left his head exposed in the process. Salamirinta has locked up a guillotine and regained full guard. He's really cranking on it - this could be the end! Is it? Is it? No... YES! YES! He's tapped! I didn't think he was going to get it there for a minute but he did! Well done Salamirinta! He waited for his chance and took it!
