Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Risley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Nikolai Radev!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risley misses with a two punch combination.

Risley cracks Radev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Risley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Radev circles away.
Radev tries to land a front kick but Risley steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Risley appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Risley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Risley showed some decent athleticism there.
Radev is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Risley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Radev's head.
Risley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Risley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Radev throws a leg kick which misses Risley's front leg but catches the back leg as Risley tries to avoid it.
Radev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Risley connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Radev scrambles back to his feet.
Risley moves in looking to clinch but Radev pushes him off.
Risley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Radev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Radev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A close second round but Nikolai Radev will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Radev does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Radev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Risley can pounce on him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Risley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Radev's guard.
Radev works his way to full guard. Good work.
Radev wants to sweep but no luck.
Radev looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Risley puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Risley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Risley winds up and cracks Radev with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Risley is keen to just control but Radev is a slippery customer.

Risley tries to pass to full mount but Radev defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
