PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rendoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Pizirdeven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rendoz comes to the cage accompanied by 4. She - Tyler, The Creator feat. Frank Ocean (Goblin). Pizirdeven has chosen Hopsin - You Are My Enemy as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Rendoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kai Pizirdeven!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rendoz looks for the body kick but Pizirdeven saw that one coming.

Pizirdeven closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rendoz's guard.

Rendoz manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Rendoz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pizirdeven throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Pizirdeven keeps control of Rendoz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Rendoz manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Rendoz is pulling down on Pizirdeven's head. It's preventing any offense from Pizirdeven, at least for the moment.
Pizirdeven seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rendoz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pizirdeven is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rendoz.

Pizirdeven stands up and beckons Rendoz to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pizirdeven.
Rendoz tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Rendoz tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Pizirdeven goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Rendoz is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pizirdeven looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rendoz is defending well. Pizirdeven quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rendoz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pizirdeven celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
