Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Long Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rangnar Krell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Long Wyatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rangnar Krell !
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Krell shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Krell tries to pass to full mount but Wyatt defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Krell is trying to trip Wyatt. He has hold of a leg but Wyatt is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Krell persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wyatt wants to sweep here but Krell controlling him for the moment.
Krell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wyatt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Krell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wyatt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Wyatt throws a wild body kick that Krell sees coming a mile off.

Krell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Wyatt manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Krell has picked Wyatt up - he's going for a ride! Krell dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wyatt ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wyatt no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Krell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Krell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Krell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wyatt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Krell has hold of one of Wyatt's legs. Wyatt is fighting the takedown attempt but Krell gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Wyatt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Krell controls the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wyatt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
