Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andy Mcnab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcnab comes into the arena with Ride of the valkyrie blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Mcnab!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Spencer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer throws a leg kick
and Mcnab counters with a two punch combo.
Mcnab rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spencer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mcnab throws a nice looking combination but Spencer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mcnab misses with a straight right.
Spencer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mcnab.
Mcnab tries to bum rush Spencer with a series of wild strikes but Spencer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
It seemed like Spencer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Spencer punishes Mcnab's body with a nice straight punch.
Mcnab misses with a combination
and Spencer counters with a stiff right hand.
Spencer lands a lovely overhand right.
Spencer throws a nice looking combination but Mcnab bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mcnab throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Mcnab takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mcnab throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Spencer counters with a left to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Spencer as Mcnab shoots in.
Spencer connects with a looping right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcnab fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Mcnab. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Spencer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcnab did well to prevent Spencer getting side control.
Spencer lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Spencer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Mcnab tries to hold on but Spencer postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spencer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spencer is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mcnab can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


Mcnab is rocked!
Spencer lands a big shot there that rocks Mcnab but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
BOOM! Spencer connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Mcnab is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcnab takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Spencer's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Spencer!
During a confident post fight interview, Joe Spencer thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
The defeated Andy Mcnab had this to say: 'I WILL COME BACK STRONGER AND HARDER.WATCH THIS SPACE'.
