The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fazz moves out of range as Werster strikes.
Werster blocks a head kick by Fazz.
Fazz throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Werster is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fazz.
A head kick from Fazz lands but Werster takes it in his stride.

It looks like Fabio Werster has been cut.
Werster is breathing heavily.
Fazz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Werster.
Werster jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fazz scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fabio Werster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Quizz Al Fazz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Werster takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fazz! Werster is out on his feet! Fazz rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Werster is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Werster is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
