Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyrus Wiley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Allen Wake!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiley dives in for a single leg takedown but Wake sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Wake steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wiley.

Wake is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wiley is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wiley has escaped and now he's on top!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wake closes the distance and clinches up with Wiley, looking for a takedown. Wake pushes Wiley against the cage but Wiley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wiley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wake but Wake pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wake is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Wiley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wake stacks Wiley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wake!

Wiley is doing well to control the position and prevent Wake from advancing to side control.

Wake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wiley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wake has managed to get both his arms back between Wiley's legs - danger averted.

Wiley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wake is trying to control the action in half guard but Wiley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Cyrus Wiley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Wake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
