Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hades Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punch Boxing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hades Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Punch Boxing!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson misses with a double jab
and Boxing counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boxing lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boxing throws a big shot that misses.
Boxing lands a right hook to the body.

Anderson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boxing tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anderson is in Boxing's guard.
Anderson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Anderson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Boxing might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Anderson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Anderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Anderson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Anderson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Boxing looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boxing really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boxing has control of Anderson's left arm, preventing Anderson from doing any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Anderson shoots in and drives through. Boxing sprawls well.

Anderson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Boxing is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like Punch Boxing has been cut.
Boxing is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boxing is trying desperately to improve position.

Anderson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Boxing to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Boxing shrugs it off.
Boxing really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Anderson controlling from the full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hades Anderson dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Anderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Boxing counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Boxing throws a hook but Anderson blocks it.
Anderson dives in and grabs Boxing's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boxing pushes down on Anderson's head and hops out.

Boxing fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anderson, pushing him back against the cage.
Boxing lands with a light punch inside.
Boxing lands with a short shot to the head.
Anderson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Boxing walks away with a smile on his face. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hades Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boxing as he avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anderson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Boxing is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Anderson stays in close to Boxing's body and controls the position.
Boxing seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Anderson feints and as Boxing raises his hands in defense, Anderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hades Anderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Anderson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Boxing tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Anderson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Boxing looking for a sweep. Not yet Boxing, not yet.
Boxing trying to keep a closed guard but Anderson is proving a slippery customer.
Boxing wants to stand but Anderson is controlling the position.

Anderson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Anderson trying to control but Boxing is working from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Anderson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Anderson is looking for a kimura but Boxing is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Anderson to get the leverage.

Anderson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Boxing is trying to stand up here but Anderson is controlling him well.

Anderson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Boxing defend it? Anderson steps over the head and cranks it - Boxing is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Anderson!
