The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar with a lazy takedown attempt
and Morin counters with a nice body shot.
Lesnar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Morin looks to land a left hand but Lesnar moved out of range nicely.
Morin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lesnar.
Morin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lesnar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Morin!
Lesnar is trying to get an arm triangle but Morin is defending well.
Lesnar advances to full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar moves to the back position.
Morin is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Lesnar has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Morin! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lesnar gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brock Lesnar!
After winning the bout, Brock Lesnar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
