Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luck Chidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Shilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shilt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Chidell throws out a leg kick but Shilt moves out of range and Chidell only half commits.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chidell wants to stand up but Shilt has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chidell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Shilt to his feet.

Chidell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Shilt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chidell is working away from the top position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chidell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shilt tries to avoid it but Chidell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shilt to the ground. Shilt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Badr Shilt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chidell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
