The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aniston closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jordan circles away.
Jordan gets caught napping as Aniston dives in and scores a takedown. Jordan manages to retain guard.
Jordan has his feet on Aniston's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Aniston feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jordan wants to stand and escape but Aniston is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Wilmer Jordan will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Aniston takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jordan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jordan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aniston stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Aniston is trying to drag Jordan to the mat but Jordan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jordan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aniston sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jordan somewhat.
Aniston lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Jordan drives through and clinches with Aniston against the cage.

Jordan throws a right and a left that Aniston avoids nicely.
Aniston tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jordan defends well and Aniston ends up having to push Jordan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
