The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakovchenko throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De Noteboom stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Yakovchenko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yakovchenko looks to land a right hand but De Noteboom moved out of range.
De Noteboom throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
De Noteboom throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
De Noteboom takes a kick to the side of the head.
De Noteboom walks into a straight right hand from Yakovchenko.
A punch combination from Yakovchenko misses.
Yakovchenko looks to score with a jab to the body but De Noteboom is just out of range.
De Noteboom attempts a counter takedown but Yakovchenko avoids it well and moves away.
Whack! Yakovchenko lands a heavy head kick that drops De Noteboom. The ref tackles Yakovchenko to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because De Noteboom was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Igor Yakovchenko!
