Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lawrence just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Lawrence fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lawrence scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lawrence misses with a wild body shot.
Lawrence swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lawrence lands a jab to Smith's midsection.
Lawrence cracks Smith with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Smith falls to his knees and Lawrence doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Johnny Lawrence decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
