Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zangief Lamochenko!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lamochenko counters with a nice body shot.
Bishop fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lamochenko manages to avoid it.
Bishop takes a swing at Lamochenko's ribcage but misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Lamochenko misses.
Bishop throws a body shot but no joy.
Lamochenko swings widly with a right hand
and Bishop counters with a nice uppercut.
Bishop scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Quinn Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lamochenko now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Bishop was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Bishop bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lamochenko's head backwards.
Bishop throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lamochenko now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Bishop moves into the clinch successfully.

A nice right hand lands inside from Bishop.
Lamochenko tries to throw a body punch but Bishop avoids it by throwing Lamochenko back against the cage.

Lamochenko swings wildly with an uppercut but Bishop uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lamochenko has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bishop should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lamochenko has tightened it up now! Bishop should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
