Alvarez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No Easy Way Out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez shoots in but Couillut avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alvarez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Couillut misses with a takedown attempt - Alvarez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Alvarez gets a takedown into half guard.
Couillut is trying to control but can't.
Alvarez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Couillut is trying to maintain the position but Alvarez is very close to passing his half guard.
Couillut is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alvarez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alvarez's back!
I really don't envy Alvarez right now.
